Indonesian American community in Phoenix met with Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States

Bapak Dubes Sudjadnan Parnohadiningrat, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States came to Phoenix with Bapak R.M. Michael Tene, First Secretary of the Embassy on Monday, September 3, 2007. The visit was arranged by Scottsdale Boomerz (www.boomerzaz.com) and sponsored by Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold. As part of his visit, Bapak Dubes spoke at the Boomerz's evening event of September 4, 2007. His presentation on "Indonesia: a Model for the War on Terror?" attracted a big audience. The Indonesian American community in Phoenix participated in the event and got a chance to talk to Bapak Dubes and Bapak Michael.

Prior to his presentation, Bapak Dubes invited us to have lunch with him and Bapak Michael. The luncheon took place at the Grill Restaurant of the Biltmore Hotel and Resort in Phoenix.
